Cooking and eating together is a simple way of connecting with other people. We are a small team of young food enthusiasts, who like to impress and show our clients our view on how people should connect while eating. Our work is focused on encouraging people to eat together and enjoy healthy, fresh food every day. We combine a range of traditional and innovative recipes with a relaxing and fresh atmosphere, while offering you high quality services.

We believe that food can take you places. So in addition to healthy versions of Romanian foods, you’ll also find a lot of global cuisine on our menus — authentic versions of dishes that will take you to the Mediterranean, Latin America, Asia, other food cultures.

How We Started

Lunch break for corporate employees meant ordering delivery, casseroles, microwaves and eating in a hurry in small areas or on the corner of a desk. We know, because we’ve been there and ate like that during our corporate years. This is how we came up with the idea to change things. And D&L Catering was born.
There was a time when lunch was an important moment in the day. With the modern times and the increasingly pressing schedules, things have changed. And we know that we cannot change this. But we can try to change the way people spend those 45 minutes per day during the lunch break.

We forgot to sit and enjoy our meals. There are approximately 240 lunch breaks in a year, and this means two thirds of the days in a year. We believe that the lunch break should be a time to enjoy a fresh and tasty meal in a nice atmosphere that takes you away from your desk and your work stress.

When you cook with passion and dedication, the result is so much more than just plain food.

We believe that our guests’ well-being depends not only on healthy menu choices, but also on choices that contribute to a healthy environment and community. We like to keep our clients well-informed about what dietary choices work best for them.

Menus are written based on seasonality and availability of regional fresh product. Whenever possible, these are produced locally using sustainable and organic practices. All our sauces are made from scratch, as are stocks, soups, and salad dressings.

D&L Catering is proud to be a member of the communities in which we operate on a daily basis. We support local communities directly: Our chefs are required to source at least 20 percent of their ingredients from local  producers.
